Press Release: For Immediate Release

FUN, PRIZES and CELEBRITIES

Marietta, GA — The “when” is Friday night, July 3 at 6:00 pm. The “what and where”
is the kick-off of the Cobb Tea Party’s Independence Day festivities at Jim R. Miller Park on
Calloway Road in Marietta.

The non-partisan Cobb Tea Party group says “Sorry, but no politicians and no political
speeches, just good old-fashioned patriotic love of country and our Constitution, the greatest
document ever written,” said Ben Mihalski, the group’s organizer.

The celebration begins with Atlanta’s nationally-known author and WSB-750 am radio’s
talk host Herman Cain who will be broadcasting live on center stage from the Cobb facility.
The toe-stompin internationally-known musical group Banks and Shane will keep things
fired-up with sweet country sounds and patriotic music and, yes, the crowd can sing along to
their hearts content.

It’s non-stop fun with WGKA-920 am Radio’s Joel Aaron recognizing folks in the
audience and calling out raffle winners throughout the four hours of holiday fare and frolic that
ends at 10:00 pm.

“Y’all come on out and join neighbors and friends for our first annual Independence
Celebration,” Mihalski said. “Folks from around the state have been calling to say they are
coming to celebrate at our big event.”
