The Mission Statement of the Georgia Tea Party is:

To impact public policy by teaching all who seek to learn the principles and spirit of individual liberty and constitutionally-limited self-government.

In order to have an impact, citizens must have knowledge and understanding. Education will always be a key component of GTP activities. We are building an informed body of citizen patriots and activists, and we will continue to make educational resources available to “all who seek to learn.”

Our second and third Operating Standards (see our “About” page) focus on education:

2. GTPI is equally focused on the importance of education and seeks to expand public understanding of the importance of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution and free enterprise economics.

3. GTPI will seek to conduct educational programs and make volunteers aware of various educational programs available elsewhere that are consistent with our mission and purposes.
